SRINAGAR: Terrorists on Monday lobbed a grenade at a crowd waiting at a bus stop in Kashmir’s Sopore town.
At least 20 civilians have been injured in the attack. The condition of 6 of them is said to be critical and they have been referred to a hospital in Srinagar. The others are undergoing treatment at a local hospital, officials said.
The attack comes a day before a delegation of European Union MPs is visiting the Valley.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and have launched an operation to nab the attackers.
No arrests have been made so far, police said.

The attack comes ahead of a visit to Kashmir of a delegation of members of European Union Parliament.
This is the second grenade attack in the last 48 hours in Jammu and Kashmir.
On Saturday, 4 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured in a grenade attack at Karan Nagar, Srinagar.
