Foresight is 20/20 for a blind Bulgarian seer named Baba Vanga, according to her followers.
Vanga — sometimes called the Nostradamus of the Balkans, in reference to the famed French astrologer — is said to have predicted 9/11 and the war in Ukraine, according to the Sun.
The mystic also offered several claims about 2023, including a shocking prediction that a nuclear plant explosion would ravage our planet and a sketchy claim that the Earth’s orbit would dramatically change this year — with devastating effects. (Clearly, neither has happened at this point.)
And although Vanga died 26 years ago when she was 85 years old, the psychic’s followers say she still has a plethora of predictions to reveal for 2024, as she made prophecies before her death.
While it’s believed that she did indeed make some pre-passing predictions, it’s not clear whether some were actually created by internet trolls. However, many nonetheless trust wholeheartedly in her post-mortem wisdom.
Here are her seven predictions for 2024:
Putin’s assassination
Russian President Vladimir Putin will be killed by one of his own countrymen in 2024, according to Vanga.
Coincidentally, just last month, someone on a Russian Telegram channel called “General SVR” falsely claimed that Putin had died and only his body double remains; however, the Kremlin denied that, calling it “absurd.”
Andrii Yusov, a spokesman for the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, later accused Russia of spreading a rumor about Putin’s death to test his popularity.
European terror
Vanga guessed that Europe would see a surge in terrorism and that a “big country” would either conduct biological weapons tests or attacks next year.
Climate disasters
She predicted that natural disasters would abound next year.
Vanga said that in addition to weather events, there could also be a rise in radiation levels, the Sun reported.
Economic crisis
Vanga predicted that rising debt, global tensions and power shifting from the West to the East would fuel an economic crisis.
Cyber attacks
She said that hackers will start to target infrastructure like power grids and water treatment plants, which will amplify threats to national security.
Technological revolution
Vanga said that quantum computing would see a major breakthrough, as quantum computers process information faster than standard computers.
She also predicted an increase in the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
Medical discoveries
Vanga had some good news — we’ll soon have the cure for both cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
In addition to her seven predictions for the upcoming year, humanity can look forward to a resolution of world hunger between 2025 and 2028, according to Euro News.
She also predicted that communism would return in 2076 and that people would be able to time travel in 2304.
Her predictions stop in 5079 — which is when she predicts the world will end.
