Whether 2023 has been your year or not, 2024 is just around the corner and promises to be transformational for many, especially people who are passionate about politics and humanitarian causes. Inbaal Honigman, celebrity psychic and astrologer, has shared her insights exclusively with the Mirror, to reveal exactly what each sign can expect.
Inbaal says: “Pluto, the ruling planet of Scorpio, is returning to the humanitarian sign Aquarius after a 240-year absence and those born under the sign of the Water Bearer, who have been waiting for their moment to shine, will get their chance to be seen as thought leaders and innovators. Scorpio-born folk will similarly be seen in a favourable light, and influence global changes around financial projects and animal conservation initiatives.”
Aries
March 21 – April 19
You’re a very straightforward sign and don’t appreciate distractions or miscommunications. Keep your expectations low between 1 April and 25 April, when Mercury retrogrades in your sign. Mercury is the planet of communication and rules conversations, friendships, letter writing and even bank accounts. Anything that can be spoken or written is influenced by Mercury – and on those dates, the planet is reversing, and it’s doing it in Aries. This will influence everyone around you and will create an atmosphere of stress around all things communication, especially for you.
Taurus
April 20 – May 20
The presence of the planet of rebellion, Uranus in Taurus for the whole year will influence your life into being more rebellious and going against the grain. For those born under the Bull, this planet has been in your sign for five years and is staying there for two more years, so it’s a whole era. However, we will see Jupiter leaving Taurus on 25 May after spending a year there, and its presence will be missed. It’s a lucky planet for generosity, finances and even muscle growth, so stock up on all of those before May.
Gemini
May 21- June 21
The welcome arrival of Jupiter into Gemini on 25 May will help you focus on things that you would normally miss. Those born under the sign of the Twins like to focus on having a good time, favouring socialising and partying and directing less focus on sensible living and saving their pennies. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, which works well for promotions, financial growth and fitness gains, so those become your staples for the 12 months ahead.
Cancer
June 22- July 22
Your heavenly ruler is the moon, so the shifts of the lunar and tides influence your watery emotions. In 2024 we experience two Supermoons, which are extreme full moons, and more powerful than average. When the moon is closer to the Earth, its gravitational pull is stronger, and the tides are bigger. It is a more potent time for manifesting and anticipating miracles, especially around romance and fertility. The Supermoon in Pisces is on 18 September 2024 and it affects love and dreams, and then there is a Supermoon in Aries on 17 October 2024 which is auspicious for new beginnings.
Leo
July 23 – August 22
The Mercury retrograde in Leo will influence you to throw all careful plans to the wind. Mercury is the planet of communication, and its job is to facilitate good conversations between people, and smooth interactions. On the 15th of August, Mercury moves back into Leo. It has already gone through your sign between 3 July and 25 July without a hitch and would have pushed forward all matters of adaptability and commerce. But this next visit is unhelpful. From 15 August to 28 August it moves backwards, which may cause some agreed plans to fall through so be careful around house purchases, contracts and job applications. As Leo goes direct again after 28 August, things could be set right again before 9/9.
Virgo
August 23 – September 22
Your ruling planet is Mercury, named for the quicksilver god of communication. For this reason, the Mercury retrograde affects you more than others, causing you to drop the ball when the planet doesn’t play along, which means that an insensitive typo can change the meaning of a whole important email, or a button pressed too early means you could order the wrong tickets online. Even more so when the Mercury retrograde is in Virgo, which happens from 4 August to 14 August. Wait for 9 September until 26 September, when Mercury goes direct in Virgo and becomes helpful again.

Libra
September 23 – October 23
You’re a peaceful and balanced sign, ruled by Venus, a planet of love and beauty. It’s a gorgeous combination but can run into the odd ‘retrograde’ here and there when your planet backspins or another planet reverses into your sign. Incredibly, this does not happen even once this year. Venus will never retrograde, and no other planet goes retrograde into Libra. With nothing getting in your way, set your goals high, especially around the 25 March, during the full moon in Libra which is excellent for manifesting.
Scorpio
October 24 – November 21
Your ruling planet, Pluto, governs transformation and will transition between two powerful signs, influencing you as it goes back and forth between materialistic Capricorn and humanitarian Aquarius. When it is in Capricorn, until 21 January and again between 3 September and 19 November, you focus on saving money and working hard. The rest of the time when it’s in Aquarius, your attention is more on giving to charity and volunteering.
Sagittarius
November 22 – December 21
The Mercury retrograde period is a time of about three to four weeks which comes around about thrice a year. It can impact everyone’s communication skills, and situations such as job offers, holidays and even regular emails can go awry. The first day of this year sees the Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius, so January 1st may be chaotic for you, but that’s par for the course. When Mercury retrogrades in Sagittarius again, however, between 25 November and 15 December, you need to be prepared for mishaps and misunderstandings galore.
Capricorn
December 22 – January 19
For the past 20 years, the planet at the very end of the solar system, which has been downgraded from being called a planet at all, has been in your sign. This is Pluto, named after the wealthy god of the underworld, and it takes 240 years to come back to each sign. If the past 20 years were a bit overwhelming for you, with ups and downs, handbrake turns and unexpected transformations, it’s Pluto’s fault. Jobs coming and suddenly being lost, friends abandoning friendships, it’s all this faraway non-planet. It’s in your sign until 21 January, and again between 3 September and 19 November, then it leaves you in relative peace for the rest of your life.
Aquarius
January 20 – February 18
Pluto, the planet of rebirth, spends about 20 years in each sign of the zodiac, and now it’s your turn. Throughout last year, this planet has gone back and forth between your sign and your predecessor, Capricorn, and after 2024 it’s here to stay for 20 years. It will be in Aquarius between 21 January and 3 September, and then again from 19 November onwards, and will bring some chaos to your life. Pisces
February 19 – March 20
For the entirety of 2024, Saturn, the planet of restriction, is in your sign. Saturn is a very mature planet, tasked with focus and productivity, but it also deals with rules and responsibilities. As a dreamy, free-spirited Pisces who loves to live in your imagination, Saturn is a little too grown-up for you. You’ll spend the year feeling as if you’re blocked at every turn, and it’s not just this year. From 7 March 2023 to 13 February 2026 Saturn is in Pisces, so get cosy with rules and learn to navigate your way around restrictions.
