Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, is in Copenhagen, Denmark, today to attend the 9th Energy Infrastructure Forum and discuss policies to boost the green transition.
This morning, the Commissioner visited the ‘Utilities down under’ district heating and cooling project in the centre of Copenhagen.
In a bilateral meeting with the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities, Lars Aagaard, the Commissioner will also take stock of Denmark’s contribution to the REPowerEU goals of ending the EU’s energy dependence on Russia while accelerating the clean energy transition.
