Our aim is not to look 20 years back but to project the future two decades using the lessons learned. For this, we conducted 20 brief interviews with business and political leaders from CEE, focusing on topics of transformation, economy and job market, and security and investments. The gathered stories and views simultaneously show wide national or sectoral and individual people’s perspectives of stepping into the next period of the EU history—the period where we continue to innovate, adapt to changing conditions, create long-term value, and build and strengthen our European home.
