Bookmakers now make it 7/1 that the UK rejoins the EU before 2026
Betting is now available on whether or not the UK will rejoin the EU before 2026 and bookmakers are offering odds for and against that happening.
The latest betting odds are at 7/1 that the UK rejoins the EU in the next couple of years with those odds suggesting there’s a 7% chance they do so.
On the other hand, for the UK to remain as they are now outside of the EU the latest odds are at 1/20 with an implied probability of 95% that they don’t rejoin.
Reports from the Daily Mail earlier this week saw Tony Blair say that the UK is ‘too weak’ to rejoin the EU as the economy is currently ‘on it’s knees’.
